Band Bio

JD and the Stonemasons are New England's favorite source for high-energy folk music. Founded in 2021, the band creates original songs in the traditional folk style, and plays a huge variety of sea shanties, fiddle tunes, Irish ballads, and every kind of roots music from blues to bluegrass. Based in beautiful Sunapee, NH, they play all across the United States.
Currently performing as a trio, JD and the Stonemasons includes JD Nadeau on fiddle and vocals, David Counts on guitar, flute, and vocals, and Peter Yost on percussion, concertina, and vocals.
